On a remote country estate, a deathly ill, powerful politician has gathered his family and closest associates. Some have come to say a respectful farewell, others to raise their social status, and still others to settle past scores.
At the beginning of the farewell feast, no gourmet would have guessed that the exquisite dinner would not only tickle their taste buds, but also test their understanding of pleasure and insatiability, loyalty and betrayal, as well as freedom and crime.
Inspired by the a pre-death feast hosted by former French President François Mitterrand.
