Eighties of the 20th century – the life in Latvia goes on at an everyday pace: the system of who-knows-who, endless queues, import goods, writing of complaints ...Sibylla Svirkste has her never met before granddaughter Muda moving in from the countryside. The women of two different generations, so similar and at the same time so different, are trying to fulfill their dreams within the Soviet reality. The play is the only comedy written by Gunārs Priede.
